Story Of Lori Greiner

Lori Greiner-min

Introducing you to the “Warm-blooded Shark”. Yes, you got it right. We are referring to Lori Greiner. Born on December 9, 1969 in Near North Side, Chicago, Lori Greiner is a daughter of a real estate developer father and a psychologist mother. Since Lori was passionate about journalism, she started working for the Chicago Tribune at a very young age, while she was majoring in Communications at the Loyala University.

Later on, she became a playwright and sold her own jewelry, which was her side business. One fine day using borrowed money, she created a unique, patented jewelry box that became quite popular as well as a source of money minting over a period of time. The year 2012 seemed crucial for Greiner as she joined the famous TV series Shark Tank. After this, she was titled as “the warm-blooded shark”.

In 2014, Lori invested in Scrub Daddy, a company manufacturing revolutionary, texture changing household sponge that touched the skies. On 30 July, 2014, she sold more than 2 million sponges on QVC in a day. Scrub Daddy marked “the biggest success story in Shark Tank history” on April 30, 2016. Sales went over $75 million. The product started selling in other stores, too. She became an investor for Top 18 Shark Tank Deals that include Squatty Potty, Readerest, Paint Brush Cover, Hold Your Haunches, Drop Stop, FiberFix and Screenmend.
